A profitable industry has grown up around fake outrage and righteous indignation. The opponents of our progressive system of government are simply cashing in on our misfortunes.
The problem with most sensible solutions to our health care system is that common sense plays right into the hands of those who can easily distort truth for a buck. It not that these entertainers care about promoting the general welfare as our Constitution phrased it, it's not even that they are against the common sense solutions; it's that these solutions make an easy target for their fake outrage. They are selling us down the river in order to make a living. This is why they can protest the very thing that they believe in or benefit from.
